Details are emerging from an explosion believed to have been carried out by a suicide bomber this afternoon near the Jubba Intersection in Mogadishu.
The bomber reportedly targeted a restaurant near the intersection, near the Benadir regional police headquarters.
At least four people have been confirmed dead in the blast, while at least 10 people have been injured, according to various sources.
The area where the blast took place is one of the most secure areas in the capital, close to the Somali intelligence headquarters as well as the Benadir regional police.
Somalia’s security sector have not yet no one has claimed responsibility for the blast, although such attacks looga studied group fighting with government forces and foreign support.
