Lower Juba: Kenyan soldiers killed in roadside bomb blast

According to reports from the Lower Jubba region, an explosion targeted Kenyan troops in Kulbiyow area, causing casualties.

Residents said the blast was a landmine, targeting a convoy of Kenyan troops, and reportedly hit one of their vehicles.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a Kenyan military base, killing at least two Kenyan soldiers and wounding several others, officials said.

Witnesses also reported that after the blast the police to put a lot of ammunition, as well as forces of the tests.

Kenyan military officials and the Jubbaland administration have not commented on the blast, which is believed to have been carried out by al-Shabaab.
