Roble orders military court to investigate Ikraan case


The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble met with the Interim Commander of the National Security and Intelligence Agency, the leadership of the Court Martial and the Commanders of the Benadir Regional Security and Police.

A statement from Roble’s office said the prime minister had instructed the prosecution and the military tribunal to conduct an immediate and formal investigation into the case of Ikraan Tahalil Farah.

The Prime Minister also instructed the new Director General of NISA and the Benadir Regional Security and Police Commanders to fully support the court in the discharge of its duties, as there were already obstacles complained by the Ikraan case commission. .

Prime Minister Roble’s meeting with security officials comes at a time when Roble has fired the director of NISA, but was denied a statement from Villa Somalia.
