Ugandan Infantry Commander arrives in Mogadishu and meets Farmajo & Roble

The Commander of the Uganda People’s Defense Forces Lt. Gen. Andrew Gutti has arrived in Mogadishu today. General Muhoozi Kainerugaba of the President of Uganda and military officers led by him.

According to reports, the officials met with outgoing President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.

There were various reports of the meeting, although the details of the meeting were not released to the media.

The visit to Mogadishu comes at a time when there is still a rift between President Farmajo and Prime Minister Roble, and recently the Ugandan president said that if the dispute is not resolved, he will withdraw his troops from Somalia.
