Minister Salah: “People in Somaliland are having trouble getting passports”


The Minister of Constitution of the Somali Government, Salah Ahmed Jama, in his inaugural address to the Upper House today addressed a number of issues.

He said the representation of Somalilanders in the upper house was limited to 11 seats and not enough.

Minister Salah added that Somalilanders have difficulty obtaining medical passports and traveling abroad.

The statement by Somali Government Minister of Constitution Salah Ahmed Jama comes at a time when Somaliland still believes it is isolated from the rest of Somalia.
