The Somali National Reconciliation Commission (SNRC) has issued an urgent statement on the escalation of fighting in Galmudug, between government and Galmudug forces and Ahlu Sunna Wal-Jamaa.
A statement from the chairman of the committee, Ismail Moalim Muse, said that the Somali people are deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the conflict and called for an end to the violence and a solution to the crisis.
